Chapter 1 “Press Start”    The system whirred to life. The group sat anxiously waiting to play. The screen turned black before a glitched out Pokémon logo appeared. “Oooooooohhhhhhhh boy….this is gonna be...an interesting experience ain’t it?” Nova asked. The others chuckled. Then a totally glitched out start screen where the only visible thing was “start”. Nova hit the A button on the controller and the screen went black. “Did….did we break it?” asked Melody. Before anyone could answer six search bars appeared. “Oh….well that's…...strange….”

Prologue Nova had just bought a house he'd been saving up for years. He was so excited, that the day he bought it he’d already started moving in. He carried some boxes into the attic. Once he was up there, he noticed a lone box that he hadn't placed up there; so he just assumed the old owners left something by mistake. How they missed it he had no idea, but he grabbed it and set it in a nearby towel closet as he unpacked. A few months had passed and he had forgotten to open the box it was still in the closet. In the middle of watching tv, he randomly remembered the box and got up to go get it. He walked to the kitchen after digging it

Roger loved science. It always seemed so fun. His love for science started when he was young. He watched how to make your own slime videos on youtube and would learn how chemicals and substances interacted. So one day after High school Roger decided to put his knowledge to the test by trying to make living slime. He almost succeeded many times but found out he needed to bond the slime to a living organism strong enough to support it. After a full day of bonding, he couldn’t find any this that would work. So he decided to stop for the day. Roger knew if he left the slime out it would become useless so he went to dump it in the garbage. J
